We’re Samy and Jean-Yves. We created proced.ai because we spent our days re-explaining the same things, and our evenings writing procedures nobody kept up to date.
Our story
How two chores became a piece of software.
Two jobs, the same wall
Jean-Yves runs e-commerce for a distributor. Every day, the same questions come in: how to process a return, refund an order, fix a product page. Samy is a cloud and IT engineer. Every time someone joins the team, onboarding drags on for days.
Procedures everywhere, none up to date
At Samy’s company, procedures exist. But they’re scattered across several tools, written by different people, and above all out of date. Newcomers learn by interrupting their colleagues, and training takes far longer than it should.
An evening per procedure
Jean-Yves tries to write everything down. One screenshot per step, cropped, pasted into Word, annotated with arrows, customer data blurred one by one. An evening for a longish procedure. Then the platform changes, the screens no longer match the screenshots, and the returns procedure has to be redone. For the third time.
The spark
Comparing our days, we came to the same conclusion: the real know-how is the task itself. Everything else, the screenshots, the arrows, the blurring, the layout, a tool can do while you work. What if a procedure could be built simply by doing the task once?
proced.ai, today
We built proced.ai around that idea, with teams like G’ma Loc and Ohmycase who have used it since the beta. Data stays in France, the AI is French, and every procedure updates as quickly as the tool it describes.
The founders
What drives us.
He went through onboardings that lasted days, for lack of clear, up-to-date procedures. He wants a newcomer to be autonomous in their first week.
He rewrote the same procedures every time a tool changed. He wants documenting to take the time of doing the task, not one more evening.
Our mission
A company’s know-how shouldn’t walk out the door with one person.
Documenting should take the time it takes to do the task once. Not an evening of screenshots and arrows.
A procedure has to update as fast as the tool it describes, otherwise nobody follows it.
And a newcomer should be able to move forward alone, without interrupting colleagues every ten minutes.
What we believe in
Four principles guide every decision.
If a feature needs training, it isn’t finished. Installing the extension and making your first procedure happen in one go.
Servers and database in France, French AI assistant. Your procedures are never used to train AI.
No inflated numbers. Our calculator is deliberately cautious, and our prices are shown in euros, excluding and including VAT.
Beta teams shape the roadmap, and support is handled by real people.
